I just can't even pick out all my favorite lines and ideas. I fucking adore that Arthur has been sharp and severe and practical and from a crime family since he was a kid. I love how tragic it is, the economy he views touch as. I adore that Eames is surprised by Arthur's callous view of touch only to surprise Arthur with his utter openness to it. They're opposites are once again complimentary.

I see them both raking in each other's skin, not only due to their hunger, but do to their desire for meaningful touch, even when Eames thinks he won't find it and Arthur thinks he doesn't need it.

Their constant observation of each other and their surroundings, their non-stop assessment and them calculating what to tell and how to escape at every moment is perfect. It gives real tension and suspense to the story. I just can't wait for more!

GUH this is so so good....when she went at him with the scissors I actually jumped back when Eames did lol--that was a solid piece of action writing!!!

I love this so much!!! The concept, and the slowly building anticipation, the craving NEED to touch each other, and also the taboos of the culture, how arthur's prostitutes and Eames tattoos break convention, but how they both have isolated themselves, how they feel the hungry desire to touch, not just someone, but now, specifically EACH OTHER...oh man....just...this whole thing is so sensual....when they finally touch I think I might combust lol
