The thing that just KILLS me about all your stuff is the realism of it. Their gestures and the little details in your work that really make it feel like you're looking at a snapshot of someone's life. In this case, Eames's body language. And Arthur's keys and his cut off jeans.

Magnificent as always. I love the colors and Arthur's cold, hurt, accusatory expression is just so incredibly lifelike. There's so much going on here and so many stories that could be read into this. And the way their hair is ruffled by the wind, and Eames' hand--guh. You have a style all your own and it's really--seriously, this should be in books, or on display somewhere.

this is gorgeous!!! i love your colors. and LOL, i was just driving on the circle tour highway and stopped at geneva-on-the-lake last weekend, and my first thought was "i should set a fanfic here with arthur and eames holding hands by the lake and riding the small ferris wheel and playing arcade games and eating burgers and fries and milkshakes." and look, you put on the lake! so exciting!

GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE! I was in Conneaut which is about 40 minutes away, and the sunset in this image is a blatant ripoff of the view from the bluffs there! I wanted to write something about Arthur disappearing into the NE Ohio/NW Pennsylvania region and remodeling a shitty old farmhouse and Eames coming to find him and scandalizing local teenagers at the township park, but I am terrible at writing things so I didn't. Ahhhh Geneva-on-the-Lake. Now I want to go baaack on vacation agaaaain.

yes!! we drove right through Conneaut! OMG small world. we didn't get to the bluffs there, i wish we had. but we did stop and watch the sunset in ashtabula. omg that'd be the best story, arthur remodeling a farmhouse and eames scandalizing teenagers at the township park (and stepping in goose shit). LOL. sounds like you had a nice vacation!! ♥

Small world indeed! Most of the time when I say "Conneaut" people are like "shwaaahh?" - the township park in Conneaut is awesome. Prime beach real estate, I tell you what.
