Like a knife to the heart. Literally. I loved the subtle, smoking hot build-up and the sudden, terrible betrayal. Is it weird to love this story? Maybe, a little. But it was really well-written and just the right amount of shocking.
Wow, thank you! I am so relieved to see you ask that question, because I felt so bad for what happened to Eames, but at the same time I kinda loved the story too. It's my twisted little baby. And I'm very happy that the ending was a surprise without being gruesome or unnecessary, thank you again!
This is somehow still sexy and sweet despite the fact that I know it won't end well. Maybe that just means I'm a sick person. But this is so brilliantly written; you show Arthur's remorse subtly, and he manages to not come across as a total monster. And Eames is just...he makes me so sad. Sweet is exactly the word. The dialogue and the sex were really hot--I loved the James Bond stuff, and then how you show that the realities of that kind of lifestyle are much less glamorous. So good. <3
Thank you so, so much! This idea started as just those last four lines between Dom and Arthur, especially the "He was sweet" part, and then it...grew. I am so happy that the sweetness played through for you and that both sides were in some way sympathetic. I'm also really happy you liked the porn since I'm still nervous about writing that ;D
And to think, I originally hadn't planned to write porn for this, clearly a sign of temporary insanity which has happily passed :). Thank you for such a lovely comment, those were pretty much my exact emotions while writing.
