Warnings: Character death, and the aforementioned violence.

( He reaches out a hand, unhindered as he plays alone in this continuum, and lightly strokes the back of his fingers against Arthur’s cheek. )

oh my gosh this is so so beautiful....I know you said you were going to write it, and I was expecting it, but it was so much more beautiful then I could have ever imagined...but oh GOD SO SAD!!

I don't think I've ever read a story where the author warned for character death, and I couldn't WAIT for the character to die! haha..I'm so sad that they couldn't be together for eternity, but I really loved the way you ended it, with Arthur being so TIRED. It was perfect, although heartbreaking for Eames...

There are so many more things I could say about this, about the kiss of death, and Eames having to plan people's deaths, and the way you worked in real life political drama and just the beautiful way that you write, but I',m going to try to stop rambling now, and just say that I LOVED IT!!!

i honestly thought about doing an alternate ending where arthur stayed with eames but then i just. i just. i didn't feel it in my heart. you know?

I did! I really did. I just love stories where death is full of compassion for humanity, and you dealt with it beautifully. And yes. I am team romance through and through, and I wish Arthur could have stayed with him, let Eames ease his suffering, seen Eames's love and repaid it - but I can understand why not, and it's heartbreaking and beautiful, oh... my boys. It brings tears to my eyes, it really does.

Well done - really, seriously well done darling.
