holy fuck what is this brilliance? just read all chapters of this, and am totally in love with this story. love your terse writing style, eames' mix of bravado and hurt, and how arthur doesn't even realize he's falling for him. god damn. you've got me panting for more.

My face = :D x 100000000

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your lovely lovely comment!! I'm super happy that Eames's (as you put it) "mix of bravado and hurt" is coming across. It's not easy to write teenagers. THEY ARE SO INCONSISTENT WITH THEIR *FEELINGS*. Gonna try and post the next part within the next week.

Thanks again for reading and commenting! <3

eeeee. Arthur teaching Eames to fight is so adorable! I like that Eames is really trying. It's probably the first time in his life that he's ever really tried for something. And the conversation about loss of family being freeing is really sad and really true. ;_;

"It's probably the first time in his life that he's ever really tried for something." fbsjdkbdjsk;jsdk!! It's like you KNOW what I am thinking IN MY BRAIN!! I think it's also probably the first time someone has asked so much of him.

And yeah, the stuff about losing loved ones was really hard to write. Because thoughts and feelings are fucked up sometimes!

Thank you for commenting, bb!! *many hearts*

There is so much happening in this one part!

Eames holding himself from Arthur's, not entirely, inappropriate touching.

The rap!

The museum!

This part:
“It’s because we all come from the same place.”

Eames turns to look at him. “And where’s that?”

Arthur grins so wide that his dimples appear. “The stars.”

(~my heart~)

The fight training!

And finally Detective Robert Fischer!!! :O
Am I the only person that didn't realise it earlier because it came as a shock to me! :x

Oh I'm so glad you liked the museum and the part about "the stars"!

I'm sure you're not the only one that didn't pick up on the fact that Bobbie = Robert Fischer. I figured people might not. But that just adds to the surprise factor :) Psst, jsyk, Pete (his partner) = Peter Browning.

Thank you so much for reading and for your lovely comment, bb!! *hugs*

I meant to comment sooner, but better late than never I guess.

I LOVE this story. And funny thing is during the last chapter I was actually watching The Professional (it came on while I was reading and flipping channels) and this time I happened to wake up at seven a.m. (like Eames and Arthur) and found the newest chapter. I am starting to feel creepily connected to this story :D

Anyway, it's fabulous. I love the story you've been building and I have found myself hopelessly addicted.

Great work!

Oh no! Better watch your back or Robert Fischer's gonna come after you! Or maybe you'll wake up one day to discover an adorable 16 year old boy sleeping on your couch... that sounds kind of creepy...

You're comments always make me smile, so thank you for reading and for taking the time to write them! <3

This fic just keeps making my life even though I know it's going to end rather sadly (at least, not with hugs and kisses and sex and marriage and babies ;_;) And I love that about it. You are such a master at creating fucked-up, complicated, funny characters. I am totally in love with their domestic life here and how they both take care of each other the best way they know how even though they're weird, awkward, broken people. And somehow even though it's totally obvious how messed up they are, they don't come off as completely weak or pitiable either ( ... )

"Even saw the lights of the Goodyear blimp, and it said 'Ice Cube Adelaide is a pimp!"

Baby, thank you SO MUCH for all your love and your assistance with this fic. You are THE BESTEST. Message me with your address and what you want for Christmas (or Hanukkah or Festivus...)
