You know, I think you may write my favourite backstory/origin stories of the entire fandom. Everything is sharp and brittle and I can see, in that single moment it takes for the gun to go off, everything that comes to build the sort of people who steal secrets and peddle dreams for a living. It's amazing, and I am completely envious.

That was beautiful. I really loved the relationship between Arthur and the Cobbs, especially Mal. I also like Eames' line about wanting to see Arthur's ugly side as well. And then the ending!

For some reason, I didn't read this the first time it came up. STUPID ME, THIS WAS BRILLIANT. Very harsh, very... realistic is probably the wrong word. Unflinching? True? IDK, it's 8am and I've spent the last fifteen minutes reading about death and loving it.
