I noticed that they are adding on to the Santa Maria cemetary. It made me wonder, if we keep burying people with tombstones and all that, won't the whole town be covered in cemetary eventually? Or for that matter, why isn't the world already covered in cemetaries? It's not like we trade out the bodies every so often.

Matter of fact, they probably do trade out the bodies every so often. In really old graveyards, they have what are called charnel houses, where the bones of old grave inhabitants are just piled up until they break down. In the Santa Maria cemetary, they probably just take down the headstone and bury the new body on top of the old one. They're expanding the cemetary generally because the town has a larger population and they need more total graves to rotate through.

Death is a pretty lucrative business. Waste not, want not.

Have you seen the tombstones towards the back of the cemetary?? They're practically on top of each other. It's the poor side of the cemetary. Around the entrance, all the tombstones are spacious, but when you go towards the back (where my grandma and grandpa are) they stones are mush together like marshmellows.

Iian is on the something. is more lucrative than us young'ns care to think. New Orleans is the best for cemetaries. They're designed to have family members buried on top of each other. They're covered in concrete so that when it floods, the bodies don't pop out. At least they planned that in advance.

Josh, why are you thinking of this just after you got engaged?? Is there something you need to tell us???
