It's right, and it's perfect and it's definitely not too sappy at all. It's the emotional payoff to everything they've been through, especially Regina. And I love that they stay (even if that still could change, maybe) and I love David remembering, like, I actually teared up. ("I grew up" GUH).

I am so in awe of how you keep Regina on that tightrope between her decades of hate and this new, scary happiness of loving Emma and then there's Emma's stubbornness because she's the best kind of princess. And she gets to be best friends with her Mom and Ruby is texting people in ALL CAPS and this is better than the actual show, tbqh.
