On America being in recession: Essentially, I don't care. It'll be over eventually. There's just a lot of people who do care and are giving me a hard time finding a job. Recession sucks.

my tuition is thousands of dollars more and i am getting less scholarships and grants because the budget cuts caused by said recession are fucking me over. what it also means is that my dad, who is a nurse for a government-owned prison, is getting paid less (which brings us once again to my registration fees and living expenses). and my mom, who balances out our bills, is having a really difficult time trying to pay for everything on time (considering, of course, that all 3 of her kids go to college--one in a private art school--and each of them live in their own respective apartment/dorm room/loft which means rent and utilities for each must be paid for).
lol sorry. had to get that out of my chest. it really doesn't seem that bad, and compared to problems other people have it's not that bad at all. but when you're used to not struggling (or at least not being aware about the struggles) it's kind of a frightening, eye-opening experience. :O
