Gah. There are so many great moments this season. Even the episodes that had me going "Eh, so what?" had their great moments. ( But if I had to pick one... )

That was exactly what I was going to say. Was rewatching that ep tonight and everytime I see it I'm amazed at how brilliant he was. A few people I know dismissed that episode as being light and fluffy. But yes, DH was amazing. The expression on his face when he's trying to talk to Zalenka and Cadman is shouting in his head and distracting him.

My other favourite would have to be the expression on everyone's faces when he explains his plan to save them in Inferno. They look so shocked that he could come up with a plan that stupendously brilliant.

The part about Duet I liked the best was the way that we once again got to see the truly decent man hiding behind the arrogance. As soon as he learns that one of them has to let got in order for the other to live and Cadman insists on making the sacrifice, his brilliant mind discovers a possible solution. And then he implements it regardless of the fact that he may die as well. He was not willing to just allow Cadman to die. He's a good man, our Dr. McKay.

yes! especially so because he doesn't like her... when he saves the lives of his friends and teammates, one could argue that there was something in it for him. Even when he saves the lives of people on the science team, one could say that they were his responsibility. But Cadman is nothing but an annoyance to him. And one could argue that it's her job to protect the civilian, especially the head science dude who's brilliance is so instrumental in saving everybody's hide. To her credit, she's quite willing to do it.

But Rodney risks his life to save hers only because, as sp23 says, he's a good man.

Yay, McKay!

I think I loved practically everything in SGA... Duet was ok for me, but I did enjoy watching DH act in it. The commitment David showed and Rodney's loss of control was very interesting. A show that exemplifies his David's ability :)
