Often, we don’t realize how much we miss someone until they’re gone.  I really missed Carson for the remainder of Season 3.  Knowing that he's not coming back only exacerbates that feeling.  Oh, I know, they say they’ll bring him back for a couple of episodes in Season 4… but he’s not really coming back… and he won’t be a part of the team anymore.
