Completely by accident while Googling for scans of the Déor MS (Exeter Cathedral Library MS 3501, if you wondered), I just ran across an article that Philip wrote! I actually did a double-take and blinked at the byline a few times before I understood/accepted that I knew the person who had written this article that Google just gave me. Bizarre ( Read more... )

Totally will - it's way better than spending thousands of dollars. Especially since I'm pretty sure it'd be easy enough to find separate torrents for any of the languages I don't already have...

i second the motion of stealing said computer program... please! :) my german suffers. i needs to learn it again. and japanese, and maybe russian? please let those be languages that exist on this program!

Definitely has all of those - though I will warn you that I only have levels 1 and 2 of all of them. I know there are three levels, but the original file didn't come with level 3's of any language, so while I'm sure they can be found on the internets, I don't have them. Still, maybe 1 and 2 is enough? I don't know how it works, I've only done the first exercise for Danish haha

excellent! i need to start relearning and learning some languages. i needs to be cool again... maybe one and two is enough - it is way better than the nada i have! ;)
