I made batter-coated ice cream balls, in anticipation of the deep-fry party. The process is strongly reminiscent of Katamari Damacy. I noticed this halfway through when I realized the background music was running through my head. -_- Must get some dry ice, to ensure that they are really hard-frozen before their ride through the fryer

CSS weirdness of the moment: floating divs are apparently considered to be *underneath* the next positioned div object. Something which is underneath something else is not clickable (and not just the overlapping pixels, but everything contained in the float). Mucking around with the float's z-order is not helpful - it just makes it completely

Work database giving me fits. Can't even FIND all the valid data, let alone expunge the copious chaff. Does not help that database schema has little to do with users' sense of reality. I keep returning to staring at it openmouthed and going "fuck. fuck. fuck." Need to restructure at least part of it, assuming anyone can even agree on what "regions
