CSS weirdness of the moment: floating divs are apparently considered to be *underneath* the next positioned div object. Something which is underneath something else is not clickable (and not just the overlapping pixels, but everything contained in the float). Mucking around with the float's z-order is not helpful - it just makes it completely ( Read more... )

Work database giving me fits. Can't even FIND all the valid data, let alone expunge the copious chaff. Does not help that database schema has little to do with users' sense of reality.
