The whole bottled-water thing ties-into the horrible erosion of public utilities and privatizing of public resources that should be part of the commons. ugh. Let's sell folks what they should rightfully own (drinking water from natural resources) and poor people can just suffer without...and 'why should we invest in infrastructure for safe drinking water? I (rich white person) *buy* my water, why should I subsidize poor peoples drinking water . . . '
