I suspect it would take someone like me no less than a year to do a TdF route. Assuming I could handle the mountains at all. I started having knee trouble on the climb into Oregon's Coast Range.
(also, the medically induced coma and the collapsing within minutes of getting off the bike? Terrifying.)
