problem exists between keyboard and chair

I completely lose at adding music to iTunes libraries.

I refuse to believe that this is a problem with me and not a problem with iTunes' UI.

Pay no attention to the fact that Apple is trying to reach the lowest of low common denominators, the non-technical technology consumer. Nope, they just suck.

wtf, techhology, ux, frustrations, mac

Oh, amen. I can't stand iTunes: it was one of the biggest reasons I switched back to using a PC.
What time/where did you want to get together tomorrow (assuming you haven't been eaten by iTunes, that is)?

Oh, ouch. Personally, I love most aspects of OSX (though on my personal laptop I'm still running 10.3.9, since I haven't found that many compelling reasons to upgrade) but we have to use iTunes for music at work.

I could meet you at 11 or so. I'm pretty open as to where; am coming from Capitol Hill, and busing, so places in the Cap Hill -> U-District axis are preferred. What do you and tallin and le Boy like to do?

And arjache expressed a bit of interest in meeting up, too.

Yay, that sounds fun. :-)
We could do food-and-park-going (everyone likes food of some type and there are a bunch of parks around). Does that work for you? Or if it's raining we could always hit one of the local pools, if you're into that.

I am into that, yeah.

Call me tomorrow and we'll figure out where to meet, based on weather and collective mood? 206-992-7683.

To quote Rommel, what is the problem? I rip my tunes, I tag my tunes, I import them, bada boom, bada bing. I have separate playlists for Nibs' iPod and mine.

I'll quite cheerily blame the iTunes UI for any problems anyone might have with the iTunes UI ... or it might be the back-end. I dunno.

burn your ipod. Kill itunes. It's just a freaking storefront to DRM encrusted music.

I get an anti-DRM gold star. adularia November 12 2007, 23:35:10 UTC
I already re-gifted my iPod, and I still refuse to spend money at iTMS.

iTunes itself would take a bit of doing to get away from, but I see no conflict with using a free player to play freely acquired music.

However, it DOES have a shit interface. :(
