Very Educational... I never heard of an ERD before, but this one picture is all I need to figure it out to a pretty good amount... This is how such concepts should be taught in early classes :)

Besides just being friggin' adorable.
methinks they've a little more emotional attachment than just "you = flavor" though... I'm willing to bet it wouldn't do that to a dog it met randomly on the street ;p

The lines in ERDs aren't supposed to communicate equivalence so much as relationships. It is my attempt at a visual pun on "YOU HAS A FLAVOR" :)

but they're not that good for modeling.

Could be a "is a" relationship :) I am finally done with info! yea! I might never have to draw an ER diagram again, but the likelihood of that is low :(
