The cybersquatters tend to only hang on to the domain for so long. Many times they're using a loophole in the system to register the domain for free. This works, but the domain expires after 1 month. At that time, they automatically re-register the domain using the same tactic. You could try placing a back-order registration so when it goes back into the public domain, you'll be first in line. If the squatter is using that tactic, you'll get the domain back within a few months.
