Alright, this is bothering me.
Some large percentage of my lifetime ago, I read the lines
kisses that tether our mouths
in a mesh of raw veins
somewhere (in a poetry-compendium sort of book), and I believe they were attributed to Sappho. But it actually turns out to be a
googlewhack and the solitary result implies that they're by García Lorca.
It just doesn't sound like FGL to me, and I would think a verse like that would have tens of thousands of hits. What IS this from? Poring over what I can find of Sappho now...
(I don't expect anyone else to know either. I'm just flailing because I was illustrating it on the bus away from work and I need like to know these things.)
"I was illustrating" is the wrong way to put it. Se me lo pintó, maybe?

Deposited bike at the repair shop in the Pioneer Square Bikestation. Hopefully will have it back tomorrow. Am a little concerned that my arm won't have healed for this weekend, but it'll probably be fine. Zoom.
