Oh, I have a question I just thought about. How will they talk underwater? Will it just be handwaived to sound normal, or will they need to make text posts/only post from inside?

Relatedly, I assume the PCDs are waterproofed/pressureproofed?

Yeah, it'll be handwaved that they'll be able to speak as normally underwater.

And the PCDs are similarly proofed against that sort of damage!

Awesome~ <3

I do have another question that just came to me, though. What happens if a character swims up? It there a surface? Is it endless? WHAT HAPPENS?

I suppose this also should/may have been asked earlier, in regards to flying beings, as well.

Water is endless! They can keep swimming up, but it just... never stops. The further up you go, the more empty the water gets. It might just be the same bit of water, looped endlessly, with the surface juuuust out of reach.

Flying people would be adapted for water, I'm assuming?

So, idle curiousity: when you say 'everything' is under water, does that mean the water goes higher than the tallest building in the city? Or does that mean you can never reach the surface no matter how high you go (it's maaaaagic)?

If we wished to turn our muses into full out fishies/aqua life, can we 1) actually do that? And 2) Would they still be able to talk and be understood and use their abilities?

Full-fishies? Sure, why not. And talking should be okay, but abilities might depend on what's necessary to use them? (Like if a wizard needs to hold their wand, and they can't with fins... whelp.)
