Shopping. Alphonse had never actually been excited about shopping before today. For this week, perhaps, it was fitting - but it wasn't so much what the activity was as who it was with. He just couldn't help looking forward to spending time with Kamui.

Al was also thankful that he hadn't let Mao or Ginia talk him into wearing a skirt of any sort - he'd dressed in black slacks and button-up white shirt he'd found at this very store.

Lifting a hand to wave at Kamui, Al grinned as he jogged up. "Hey!" Al paused a moment, studying the differences in Kamui's appearance. He could be wrong, but he thought he was shorter than before, though still taller than him - with slightly more delicate features (not that he hadn't been pretty before, but still). His clothes were too baggy for Al to pick out whether his body had changed much.

Apologetically, he smiled. "I'm sorry I'm late, I had to duck out... Brother's being very protective since he came back."

Kamui had to admit it was weird to hear the female voice, even though they had spoken several times already across the network. He nodded fractionally instead of waving back. If hearing the voice was weird then actually seeing Al was twice as strange, not saying that it was a completely bad change just rather odd.

He shook his head. "Don't worry about it. It's not like I was waiting out here long." He'd had a feeling that the other would have to sneak out in order to meet up. In a way he could understand the protection too, whether it was more needed now or before was a mystery.

He turned very slightly, holding a hand out to Al. "No time like the present."

Al had to go and remind himself that he couldn't think of this quite in the terms he'd like to. There was still Sion's feelings to worry about, and feelings or not, it wasn't as if he could afford to get close to Kamui. Being around him probably wasn't a good idea, but... perhaps he was selfish. It didn't sit well with him, thinking that about himself.

Even so, he couldn't help but smile, though his eyes momentarily widened when Kamui held out a hand to him. For just the barest moment he hesitated, but he slid his hand into Kamui's, a shy smile flickering into place.

"Okay..." Al trailed off, turning his head to glance around the store as they entered, trying to think on the sizes they'd need, and where to find clothes he could use once he'd turned back. "What exactly are you looking for, and what styles do you like?"

As much as Kamui wanted to relax, at least to a certain point, he couldn't help but be worried about Sion. It wasn't like her to go off without telling someone and he still hadn't seen any sign of her. So far he'd only come up with two conclusions, either she was hiding herself remarkably well or she'd left completely. Neither really sat well with him.

He shook his head slightly to try and clear the thoughts as they walked in. He was hoping to be distracting himself from them not encouraging more to spring to mind.

Kamui looked over at Al with a very small amused look. "Tops and trousers. Preferably plain." He paused for a few moments before adding, "No bright colours."
