Gladius was a person of his word and when he promised to bring apples, he intended to carry through on his word. That, and he wanted to meet the wizard who had promised to try to teach him magic and given him a compliment. Even though he was a dragon, he was still a kid and he liked approval, especially in this world where he was by himself.

He ran through the city, tightly clutching a bag of apples with his mouth. His PCD was around his neck like a pendent, kept there by a long piece of twine he'd found while scouting around. As he ran, he realized he didn't quite know where the storage facility was, just a general area.

Slowing down slightly as he saw someone standing in the road, searching around, he lifted his head and gave a happy chirp as he padded over, recognizing the brown hair and face.

"Zedd!" he said, carefully setting the bag of apples on the ground. Leaning forward on his paws, he gave a polite bow before sitting down. "I'm glad I found you!"

The man jumped at the voice, not having expected the young dragon to be quite that eager to meet. He turned, stuffing the little rock into his pocket again, more than a little hasty about it, like it was a naughty little trinket. "Ahaha, my boy, you did bring apples!" Zedd grinned, squinting at him as he waved vaguely with his hand. "Somewhere around here is where we were supposed to meet." He chuckled softly

Gladius's head tilted to one side in thought, his tail curling around to rest over his footpaws much like a cat would. "I told you I'd bring apples! They're really good ones too. I had a few myself. I'm still pretty young, only around ten in human years. Some of the older dragons are really big and could eat a human if they wanted to. Not that we do

"So you did!" Zedd's appetite was clear, as he polished off his second apple while watching the dragon gambol over to the newspaper and back. Zedd scanned the paper, eyebrow raising. "This is some sort of...report. Information from before the event, even, or so it seems. Hmm

Skyler had spent the last couple of hours picking his way through several buildings, searching for any food or useful items. The small fire-type was having a moderate amount of luck, but it was hard to know what was and wasn't useful to everyone. But so far, he'd managed to root out some canned food, blankets, pillows, and a smallish white box with a red symbol that looked like a Plusle's tail(he didn't know what it was, but felt it might be useful), as well as a few other odds and ends
