Kamui had caught up with the other a short while before she spoke. He kept an emotionless look on his face but in truth he was worried about the one before him. He could tell she was struggling to keep in control, he understood why the other didn't wish to give in. What the vampire couldn't understand was why she was pushing everyone away. It wasn't like he was going to make any judgment on her actions, he simply wanted to help in someway.

"I though I told you I wasn't going to." He retorted in a tone which didn't have enough venom for his liking. If one could act that cold then so could the other, he'd try and match everything that could possibly be thrown his way. Kamui moved closer and instinctively he raised his head a bit, "You don't listen to me so why should I listen to you?"

The vampire vaguely noted that every time they'd had a disagreement of some kind the other had always ran off somewhere. He reached out and grabbed the her arm. Kamui was determined that they were going to talk one way or another.

Sion didn't like him grabbing her arm, but she held her ground. The background noise in her mind encouraged her to kill, slaughter, feed, destroy and in response, her hand went to grip his arm, claws tightening and digging into his skin.

She wanted someone to care. She couldn't understand why people cared. She wanted to be rid of the curse she'd carried for so long. She needed the power it came with. Want. Need. Want. Need. Both things conflicted in her mind and only confused and irritated her more.

"This matters little. I do not want your company nor do I need you watching over me."

Her lips pulled back and she gave a fanged grimace. It was tempting to tear into his throat right now and drink his blood. Would it taste sweet or would it be bitter? So many questions.

The vampire ignored the other grabbing his own arm. He could feel the claws biting into his skin, without the pain it was simply an annoyance. Kamui kept his blank look firmly fixed to his face, simply looking at the other.

He snorted and tilted his head fractionally. He didn't believe those words at all. The vampire watched the other carefully, an attempt to figure out what was going through he head. The idea of a mental link had crossed his mind but was quickly dismissed.

"I think you do before you go off and do something stupid." Kamui paused slightly, "Would you rather I go and get one of the others to look over you?"

He finally noted what the other was thinking, it was educated guess with a high chance of being right. At least if the positions were reversed he would be thinking the same.

"Try it and you'll become a vampire. Be it of the kind you are now or of the kind I am."

Her teeth gnashed together with a tiny click. Even if she wouldn't admit it out of pride, his words were accurate. Kamui was a very perceptive person and she acknowledged that. And even if she disliked it, she knew she had put herself into a position where she needed someone to watch over her.

"...No, the others do not need to come. They are only human. It would be too dangerous for them."

Only human. Yet it had been those same humans who had brought her back to sanity. She gave a tiny laugh, her grip loosening on his arm.

Was that how it would be? Doomed to repeat the patterns that had defined her life for so long?
