Characters: Jinx and Lucifer

Rating: Always assume the worst, and I will lock it if necessary.
Summary: This is the first sign Lucifer's gotten in nearly two weeks that Jinx is even alive. You know, since he left her for dead. It's not going to go well.

He was aware when Jinx came home, but didn't immediately go to her. It was more important to see what she was up to, and when he found her packing he finally stepped into the room.

The pillow and her bag clattered to the floor. Without hesitation, she whipped around in the direction of the sound and threw up her good hand. A spiral of magic appeared in her palm, shaping itself into a sigil. And that sigil? Could banish an angel on the spot. Sure, she had no idea how well it would work like this (she'd only seen it painted in blood on Rei's walls,) but Jinx would sure as hell send it flying at him if he tried anything funny.
Her nose crinkled as she growled at him, upper lip curling. Her gaze was dark and angry. "Leave."

"Without so much as a nod?" Oh how he needed to move, though, Nick's skin was too tight, it felt like it was threatening to split if he didn't walk it off. But he didn't move. "I need to talk to you. There's something you...you need to understand."

"I just wanted to see if you were okay, and you--you--I almost died and you didn't even care!"
Before this point, she had yelled at him. They had fought plenty of times. She'd gotten upset, too. But never like this. This time, she was screaming as loud as she physically could.
