FRONT LOBBY.

Here, there is a lot of food, from every culture imaginable that the kids have managed to get together thanks to the event! Eat, drink, be merry! But be careful -- there might be some liquor in the punch.

[soundsofdrums]

[Why is he at this gathering again? ...He has no idea. The Master really has given up on trying to figure things out by now. Boredom, maybe, though he's not quite sure if he wants a repeat of the last party or not.

Now that Sonja's not around to record him, maybe. But for now, he'll just be focusing on people watching.]

[Master's there because Doctor dragged him there. Because he loves Christmas, and he highly doubted that the Master would even want to celebrate it in some way. After all, it's a human thing.]

Master look! There's jelly babies!

[soundsofdrums]

...and how did they manage to find those? [One day, he's going to simply punch the Doctor in the back of the head the next time he tries to drag him to something.]

[hideyosammich]

I haven't the faintest idea. But!

[He throws his tie over his shoulder and brings it around the back of his neck and deepens his voice several octaves. He grabs a handful of jelly babies and holds them out to the Master.] Would you like a jelly baby?

[soundsofdrums]

[...Okay. To that, he can't help but grin as he grabs one of the jelly babies, popping them into his mouth.]

Ah, ol' teeth and curls.

[hideyosammich]

[The Doctor laughs, letting his tie fall back into place and taking a few of the jelly babies himself. There's a quiet mew from his pocket and he raises an eyebrow, reaching into his pocket to pull out the tiny golden kitten.]

Thete, I told you that you couldn't come!

[soundsofdrums]

... [He raises an eyebrow.] Can these bloody cats never stay put? And how do you not notice a cat in your pocket?

[hideyosammich]

They're bigger on the inside. [He plops the kitten onto his shoulder and sighs.] Alright, you can stay, since you're already here.

[soundsofdrums]

Dimensionally transcendent pockets are not an excuse for not noticing a cat.

[hideyosammich]

He's a very clever cat, aren't you? [He laughs.]

[soundsofdrums]

[He's just. Going to roll his eyes. Kthx.]

[hideyosammich]

[The kitten mews loudly.] No, Theta, jelly babies are not for you.

[soundsofdrums]

I didn't exactly expect on us having to kittysit here.

You didn't really expect to socialize either, did you?

[soundsofdrums]

I'm not particularly one for socializing all too much. Months of it on the campaign trail, even if it was just for show, was just tiring.
