And of course, he had had her worried sick. She had warned him about those time sinks, hadn't she? And he hadn't listened. Kamis bless her for putting up with all these hardheaded men.

Sango by now was used to searching the Wastes, searching for loved ones who always seemed to vanish, and she'd done so several times since his disappearance. But his PCD hadn't read 'offline' as it would have if he'd been taken from Adstringendum; though even then, with credit to recent reappearances, it wouldn't have been the end-all of the situation.

She knew he could take care of himself, and that it was probably his insatiable curiosity that got him into this, and that he could handle most of the things in the Wastes, but it would've been nice if he at least let her know first. Because now, he was never going anywhere alone, ever again. Especially after the fog event where she had watched him die horrifically before her eyes, among so many others.
