Chilly, drizzly days were nothing for Negi. Even just wearing his light brown duster, the chill never got to him. The duster was there more as a shield from the rain than anything - his ki kept him perfectly warm, and it didn't take hardly any energy at all to accomplish. Which left him sitting out on one of the benches by the field, sans umbrella, the misty drizzle gradually collecting in his hair.

At the voice, he looked up from his PCD, breaking out in a wide smile. He was on his feet in seconds, tucking the PCD into his pocket and making his way to meet Gon halfway.

"Hey! You made it!"

"Yeah, these are pretty useful." Gon hefted his own PCD for a minute before tucking it away. "They can do all kinds of things, can't they?"

And for free! Leorio would've been thrilled. He smiled at the other boy, already sizing him up. There was a glow of controlled power around him. People from other worlds used nen too?

He gave Negi a smile. "It's nice to meet you in person!"

"Yes! They do have a lot of functions. A friend of mine that isn't here anymore even developed a couple of games for them."

Negi smiled back, hands going into his duster pockets for now. His staff wasn't strapped to his back as it normally would be, instead leaning against the bench behind him. He was already prepared for the sparring session. The ring on his left forefinger would be all he would need.

"It's nice to meet you, too! Killua's mentioned you several times."

"Really?" Gon laughed. He hadn't had time to ask too much about Negi -- but he'd learn, right?

He stepped back, spreading his hands. "So how do you want to start? Count of three?"
