Characters: Lucifer and Jinx When: Monday Where: The Chateau Rating: V for violence Summary: The best part of breaking up is getting back together. With a vengeance.
Lucifer had been spending his time harassing Allen's friends--unintentionally as usual; though stirring them up so Sonja had emotions to feed off of was a bonus. It had taken him some time to get used to having an inhuman arm, a cursed eye, and diminished height--he was shorter than Gabriel now--but he'd done it.
And then Jinx came home, rattling the walls and threatening the foundation of the Chateau. Lucifer flew and appeared right beside her.
"Gabriel ruined that greeting for me. Maybe he wouldn't have if he'd dressed it up like this, but...."
Jinx was ready for Lucifer to suddenly appear next to her. But what she wasn't ready for was some teenage boy suddenly breathing down her neck. Immediately, she twisted and jumped back a few feet away from him. Her boots were still skidding on the foyer when she hexed the boy hard into the nearest wall.
The aura hit her about two seconds too late. Her hands were still glowing, but her eyes went dim as she stared at the scrawny child. Everything was different, but the presence was still there. The cadence of his voice when he had spoken.
With each step he moved toward her, she took a defensive one back. Her hair was getting a bit fluffy in the back from her hackles and she couldn't keep from growling at him.
"No. No, no, no, no! This is not okay. You're a malnourished fourteen-year-old. Why are you a malnourished fourteen-year-old?"

"...Lucem?"

He moved closer, one calm step at a time. "How was your vacation at the Temple?"
