Characters: Mukuro (grandtheftbody) and Tsuna (onnicomprensivo) When: August 14 Where: Varia Mansion Rating: PG-13 Summary: Mukuro takes an opportunity to (try to) possess Tsuna.
Tsuna still hadn't figured out what Mukuro had done to him. Certainly, his intuition had been making him more uneasy around Mukuro than usual, which he... had more or less tried to push out of his mind. He knew his intuition was something he should trust, but he just didn't want to get into anything scary right now. He comforted himself by telling himself that if Mukuro had done something really bad, someone would probably say something on the network, right?
It hadn't occurred to him that his own safety might be in danger.
Currently the boy was lounging about downstairs on a sofa, enjoying the newly returned oxygen. And his legs.
"Ah... I never want to be a fish again," he yawned, stretching luxuriantly.
Mukuro entered the room behind Tsuna, his footfalls almost silent - but he assumed Tsuna would sense him there. The boy had that uncanny intuition that had caused Mukuro so many problems. He wondered if Tsuna could see through him, knew what he was planning. Not even planning, really - just thinking about.
"Tsunayoshi," Mukuro said, leaning against the back of the sofa and looking down at him. "I thought you made a rather good fish. It suited you."
Tsuna did feel Mukuro coming, but he'd hoped he was just wandering about the mansion doing his Mukuro-thing. As it was, he jumped when Mukuro spoke to him, looking up with a jolt. He felt so uncomfortable around Mukuro these days, and he just couldn't put his finger on why. It probably showed on his face.
"I was even more clumsy as a fish! I don't need to be useless in water as well as dry land..."
"You're not useless. Far from it." Mukuro had certainly thought he was, once, and had felt the need to draw his true abilities out of him - in order to make him useful. Of course, that had backfired quite unpleasantly.
"I wouldn't have accepted the position as your Guardian if you'd been useless."
