[Or maybe Anna was going out of her way to avoid knowing what her brothers and sister were up to. Maybe she didn't care, couldn't find any reason to give a damn about what they did and why they did it. As long as they kept out of trouble, that is.

But then, you can never have one without the other, can you? Anna's wandering a few blocks away from Solve when Raphael decides to drop in. She turns to face her, silently questioning what the hell she wants? It's not like Raphael had been high on her list of who's-decent, even just in Adstringendum.]

[There's no sign of aggression, nothing at all sinister in the few steps closer to her sister. Raphael stops ten feet away- at the edge of personal space for an angel.]

I assume nobody has told you why. [Raphael's clothes rustle with those steps, and she isn't doing anything to keep the glow of the pendant around her neck from peeking out.] Castiel certainly wouldn't.

[Just because there's no sign of it doesn't mean it's not there. Anna sees the glint of captured Grace, too; the sight is all too familiar.]

I never asked. [So.. no. No one had told her squat.]

You know it was not without cause.

[It's the closest thing to an argument she'll pose in her defense. Such an action is unprecedented: never, in all their history, have the agents of Heaven cut out an angel's Grace before. Anna was the first to carve out her own, and even considering it as discipline borders on unthinkable. It was Raphael's first time doing such a thing- Lucifer's, too.]
