I came because I had to, I'm the one who saw

Jul 08, 2011 03:45

Characters: Raphael, Michael, and Lucifer (for now~~~)
When: Immediately after this.
Where: Some remote, isolated corner of the city.
Rating: PG-13 for... angels being angels.
Summary: Raphael saw Rei's vision of Castiel declaring himself God. The angels are understandably upset about this.

I have no thought at all about my own reward- I really didn't come here of my own accord. Just don't say I'm... damned for all time. )

raphael, castiel, michael, lucifer

Michael was not used to being flown somewhere, especially without his consent, by any of his siblings. So when Raphael just suddenly showed up and whisked him away somewhere, he wasn't alarmed, but he was surprised. Surprised enough that he hadn't considered leaving before she was back, with Lucifer this time.

He was about to speak when she did, and though he had a feeling most of the harshness was at Lucifer, he still was slightly amazed she was speaking to them in such a way. He let it go, however; Raphael had earned more than a few pardons of behavior and hardly ever used them, so he wasn't about to make a fuss over it. Especially when she seemed so... Shaken?

"Raphael, what happened?" He casts a sideways look at Lucifer, to see if he brother was just as confused as him or not, before looking at Raphael once again.

Lucifer wouldn't even look at Michael (which was unusual; ever since their truce, when he was around his brother that's where his attention went.) Instead he stared at Raphael, something alien and ugly in his expression.

It was only because he had learned to be patient (because he'd had to) that he didn't carve her face off with his thoughts. Later, he will.

It takes less than the space between heartbeats to lock eyes with Michael and communicate through their own private angel radio signal. Rei told Lucifer of her vision of your actions on the day of the final battle. Be careful. A second, two, three, and she breaks the gaze to look at them both, brows furrowed in what looks like confusion.

"I don't-" her voice breaks. Raphael's voice never breaks. "I don't know what to do." So much warring rage, fear, outrage, ire, and the raw sickening horror shock how of what she saw. It's been literally less than two full minutes since she saw the horrible vision in Rei's mind ( ... )

Michael's head tilts, just slightly, at Raphael's message to him; he doesn't know exactly what he said before their fight, but considering Lucifer was avoiding his gaze he knew it was something upsetting to their brother. He would have to deal with it later, but right now, Raphael's distress was clearly more pressing.

"Raphael, what-" He begins to ask her, at her statement, when she touches his forehead and begins to send him the vision. And he can't believe it. It's a horrifying scene, in so many ways, from the horrible death of Raphael to the eerie, twisted being Castiel had become to the former angel's final statement. It was something so unbelievable that Michael, who had seen so very much in his countless years, was stunned temporarily into horrified silence.
