Shirou casts a glance to the door frame and the cracks as they enter, raising a brow at the sight but ignores it in favor of looking around the house proper. Though he's distracted as Shura addresses the boys, chuckling low and moving to lean against a nearby wall and crossing his arms.

Nevertheless, he's happy about the chance to see his two brats again even though it hadn't been that long. Both re-meetings had gone vastly different from one another, but in the end it felt as though he hadn't missed much at all. Plus this Suguro that had been mentioned left him thinking back to much on past events.

As he's addressed, Shirou smirks a little with a chuckle. "I would prefer oden myself."

Shura crosses her arms as she waited for a response from any of the boys, wondering if she wasn't going to have to pull out her PCD and message them.

What a pain that'd be.

She looks amused at Shirou's answer. "Probably won't even get that much, shit's rough out here. Like training camp all over again." By the end of her sentence her tone has turned to one of utter distaste.

"And what fun those were!" His tone on the other hand is one of pure amusement, and full of its usually unbroken carefree enjoyment of everything and clearly anything.

"But a house is better than a tent, I must admit." Shirou will turn his gaze toward a nearby window, glancing over the view outside. "View could be better."

"When you're teaching them, maybe." Shura makes a disgruntled noise and follows his gaze. "You'll get used to it." There were other parts of the city that looked better, probably, but this was the place the brothers had chosen and Shura didn't see any reason to move just yet.

Whatever else she might say is put on pause when Suguro walks downstairs.

Rin had heard Shura call: currently he was seated on Suguro's couch, legs spread, arms crossed, all in a huff. There was no major debate over whether the old man was an illusion or not anymore. It was all a matter of coping now. So rather than respond to Shura's call Rin chose to stay on the couch, tail flicking irritably.

[Bon looked over his shoulder towards the stairs before looking back over at Rin. That was definitely not the face of someone who wanted to be near anything that was happening downstairs. He could hear the muffled sound of their conversation, but not what they were saying. There was a man's voice. He was assuming that was the "Shirou" guy that everyone was talking about.]

Hey man, you alright?

It wasn't that he didn't want to be near his old man, it just left him in a mess of emotions he wasn't sure how to handle. Which then defaulted into irritation, thus why he was still upstairs, on the couch.

"M'fine. " And even though his face is remaining the same, that tail is still flicking.

"Bull shit."

Bon moves a little closer. He wasn't entirely sure what happened between Rin and his dad, but he knew what it was like to have tension with a father figure. He catches Rin's tail and lightly sets it on the couch. The motion kept catching in his peripheral vision and it was distracting.

"You don't look like you're fine."

Yukio too, had heard Shura call out to all of them. Though like his twin, he isn't moving especially fast to get downstairs. His glasses are off and he's rubbing tiredly at his red and puffy eyes as he walks out of his room. It was more getting a hold of himself before he walked downstairs than having to cope, or perhaps it was both. Either way the last thing he wanted or needed was getting overly emotional again, his father was one thing but everyone else was frankly another story.

Rin will look over from his spot on the couch when he hears the creaky door to his and Yukio's room. He can't help but feel sympathy toward the other in their identical struggle to absorb their fathers return. Unlike Yukio however Rin wasn't able to keep his distress hidden.

"Oi."

Hearing his brother's voice causes Yukio to glance up, replacing his glasses on his face and glancing over. He's quiet for a long moment, his focus drifting from his twin to the wall on the far side of the room but he'll take a few steps closer to the couch, but he's still seemingly turning his focus elsewhere.

"He-" He starts, but his voice is hardly there. There's a swallow, and he pushes himself on to try again; "What is it?"

There's a lengthy pause were Rin just watches his brothers nervous behaviors, unsure how to react to them. He himself was in a similar state, but had previously let out what tears he had upon the reunion with the old man.

"Are you going down to help Shura?"

He almost flinched back when Rin snapped at him, but he kept his mouth shut. It didn't take long for his mood to change entirely. He moved towards the edge of the couch when Yukio walked out of his room. Neither one of them looked any sort of happy. He dug his fingers into the fabric of the couch, just watching the two of them for a moment or two. He stands up.

"Fine. See ya."

It wasn't like either one of the Okumura twins was going to open up to him any time soon. Besides, they had each other. He was sure they understood more of what the other was going through than he would. Or at least they would probably rather talk to each other. Now he just felt like he was being intrusive.

Bon jogged down the stairs and stopped in front of Shura and that Shirou guy. He couldn't help but stare at him for a moment or two. Who the hell was this guy? He slipped his hands into his pockets and looked away from the two of them.

"What's up?"

Shura looked away from Shirou towards Bon. "We're having a party~ Old man paladin's living with us now, might as well give him a proper welcome."

She doesn't feel the need to mention that half the reason is also because said old man is also, in a way, back from the dead. Instead she purses her lips and glances up the stairs. "Ya might want to at least drag the idiot down here, otherwise you'll be the one stuck cooking."

"A party huh?" He looks over at Shirou again. He can't say he was surprised to see him. He knew that the guy had died. It was all that he got on the guy other than he was the Paladin at one point and the adoptive father of Rin and Yukio. And that he trained Shura. There had to be more to this guy than all of that and he would figure it out. Soon.

"Yeah. Doubt you guys would want me cooking anyway. If it ain't instant, I'm no good with it." Not that he wanted to go back upstairs. Or be the errand boy. But whatever. It gave him something to do.

"Be back in a sec." And he jogged back up the stairs he just came down.

"Eh..." Shura sighed, slumping slightly at the behavior of both the twins and Bon as the latter went upstairs. It really shouldn't have been this hard to get them to cheer up a bit- or it shouldn't have to be her job, at least.

"What a pain in the ass." She flopped down in the nearest chair, kicking her feet up onto the table. "All of 'em."
