Summary: Rapunzel is worried about Kurt, wants to keep him company, and he's all for spending a day playing with her hair. He might even find out a little secret that she's keeping about it.

It had taken a while, but finally, Kurt had managed to summon up enough courage to slip out of Solve unnoticed. He felt horrible for it, but he just... couldn't take it anymore. Sitting in a room while everyone else slept, too terrified to close his eyes for more than a second at a time. While walking, however, he sent a quick private message to Rachel and Blaine, letting them know where he was, that he was fine, and that, as he reached Rapunzel's place, that he'd gotten there safe and sound.

Once there, he reached up to tug his scarf around his neck a little tighter, shifting the fabric of the coat over his Dalton uniform a bit before he reached a shaky hand forward to knock on the door in front of him, glancing at his PCD one last time as he waited to make sure he got the coordinates right.

Luckily for Kurt, it would only be barely a knock and a half before the door was tugged open, little Rapunzel standing there beaming with what looked like relief. He wouldn't even get through the door before he was caught in a bear hug-- she had a serious grip on her for such a tiny thing. And of course, then she was tugging him inside to shut the door.

"You made it! Are you okay? Did you get stopped along the way or-- Did you friends get upset?" Fingers wringing already; she knew Rachel and the others probably didn't want him leaving in the first place.

He stiffened up a bit at the sudden contact, blinking down at the girl for a moment before reaching his own arms up a bit to return that hug, albeit a bit weakly. It took him a moment longer than it usually would to fully comprehend Rapunzel's questions, his mind still whirling from everything that had happened, from everything he'd seen and experienced... but eventually, he did respond.

... After being tugged inside, that was.

"They'll be fine. A little mad I didn't get someone to go with me, but I needed to get out," he said, voice a little flat, his expression still a bit distant, a bit dull. He's just missing that vital, vibrant bit of himself that, well, made him Kurt. "I'm... okay. Or getting there, at least. Slowly. You're doing okay too, right? The dr-" he broke off for a second, voice straining slightly, but damn if he wasn't going to finish, "-the dreams weren't too bad for you?"

She still didn't have any real idea as to what had gone on for those five who had been kidnapped. She hadn't even ventured into their dreams, let alone really known they'd been targeted until just recently. Sure, she knew about Kurt being in a coma, but.. The connection wasn't really made until later
