The knock was unexpected, but far be it from Unohana to be surprised. In this place, anyone could need help at anytime, and there had been a batch of new arrivals recently.
She picked up Minazuki and went to open the door, miling at the two teenagers she found on her doorstep.
Standing slightly off and to the right of Haruhi, he saw her knock, his hand reaching over to squeeze her's reassuringly. He put on a brave smile, braver than he felt at any point anymore.
This place just seemed like an endless pool of troubles to him, and the way some people had talked about it, the wastelands outside of it were just incredibly dangerous as well. But acting worried about it wouldn't make anything happen, at least not anything good.
"Hello... My name is... well just call me Kyon, and this is Haruhi, we were looking for a place to stay until we find a more permanent residence actually"
"That's exactly right!", Haruhi suddenly stated, almost interrupting Kyon's words. The one thing everyone could notice about her now, was her refreshing bright smile that was stuck across her face. Not showing it to anyone, Haruhi was rather unsure, if they'd be accepted here, but it was worth a try. Everyone had told her how nice and kind Unohana was, so she had to accept both of them, right? "Suzumiya Haruhi's my name! Nice to meet you. You should be Unohana-san then, shouldn't you, my Lady?" Haruhi was as cheerful and selfconfident as ever, almost sounding bossy again. But it did work out with the Computer Club, didn't it? Why should it not help them to a room at this clinic this time instead of a computer?
