Summary: Unohana promised Alphonse she'd be around to help with rain and explain what's going on with Yuca. now she's making good of that promise.

Despite the fact that Miss Unohana had promised to come, and had seemed earnest about it, Rain still hadn't honestly been expecting her. It just seemed like an awful lot of trouble to go through for him. But when he heard the knock at the door and didn't notice any other member of the household immediately go to answer it, Rain poked his head out a window and nearly fell the rest of the way out in surprise when he recognized her from the PCD screen.

He pulled himself back in quickly and hurried toward the door, not wanting to make her wait; he opened it. "You... you came."

Unohana smiled gently.

"I said I would, did I not ?"

She held out her basket and its fruit.

"Here, I hope you like kiwis ? If you have a knife, we could peel one and you could try it."

Rain's gaze darted from Unohana's face to the basket and it's mini treasures and then back again, before he turned his head to look over his shoulder instead.

"I... I think there's a knife in the kitchen?"

"Let's go, then."

She ushered Rain back inside and followed him to the kitchen, letting him lead the way although she knew it as well.

"I'll show you how to do it, so that you can do it yourself afterwards. But you will have to be careful with the knife."
