Ciel hadn't been able to fathom what Urahara was doing in the kitchen. Ciel himself had taken refuge in the house after being viciously attacked in his own living room with snowballs -- though he had retaliated viciously with his cane.

The kitchen with the oven and stove was the warmest room in the house.

Though he was trying to busy himself in the study, every once in a while he'd come and peek at Urahara through the doorway. He could be sneaky when he wished, but he was rather out of practice.

Said oven and stove were drying him up nicely after his time in the snow, and he busily shifted from one end of the kitchen to the other, mixing the cookie batter before rolling it out onto the wax paper on the counter top.

"Ah, Ciel-san~! Would you happen to have cookie cutters?"

Spotted. Ciel's dubious expression slipped into his normal guarded mask without any conscious action on his part. He recognized the batter vaguely, though it was mostly from the scent of sugar.

"Sebastian's organized the cupboard, not me."

He crossed his arms, leaning against the doorway.

"Do you often take up using others' kitchens to bake what you like?"

"I was hoping you'd join me~!"

He bounded over to the doorway, circling around the leaning figure before nudging him inside with the judicious applications of still flour-less forearms to the small of his back.

"Christmas isn't nearly as fun without cookies~♪"
