Summary: After Jr. destroyed his house, Ukitake offered a place for him and MOMO to stay.

Squall was gone.

It was always a possibility that he would leave, just like Gong-gil had disappeared and Kyouraku before him. Ukitake had been lonely then, but he had gotten over it in time.

Squall had been there for him. Squall had helped him move on.

And now he was back home, fighting for his own cause, doing what he was meant to do. He would have forgotten everything of Adstringendum.

These thoughts swirled in Ukitake's mind as he stripped off Yuki's bed, another casualty of the instability of this place. Another name to commit to memory as his absence echoed in the house. Jr. and MOMO would be here soon, or so Ukitake hoped, and it wouldn't do to sleep on a ghost's sheets.

The door was unlocked, open and as inviting as it could be right now.

MOMO had no idea what to do with herself, her home had been burnt to the ground. Her boyfriend was in an unbreakable depression. And, worst of all, it felt like she had lost all control of her life.

For now, all she could do was follow Jr's lead. Hoping deep in her heart that that, together, they could find a way through this mess.

Jr. was oddly quiet during the trip to Ukitake's house, eyes cast to the ground. When they reached the house and he saw the door, he silently tied Quetzalcoatl to a tree and walked to the door, stopping in the doorway and holding his hand out for MOMO. He felt a bit of annoyance from Albedo, but it was token. His twin still didn't approve, but was too worn down to object properly.

While he waited for MOMO to come up beside him, he looked into the house and called out, "Ukitake-jiisan?"

He had finished fixing up the new bed as soon as he heard the voice. Smoothing his hand over the blanket, he left the room and walked toward the door, bowing slightly when he saw Jr. and MOMO there.

"Please. Make yourself at home."
