Sometime in the evening, near-ish the clinic, after Iroh's landing. <3

Zuko was furious.

First, Rhode had betrayed his trust and gotten inside his head, toying with memories and experiences that were his.

Second, she had decided to talk to his uncle as if nothing had happened, attempting to manipulate him, like she had him.

And third, she acted like it was all just some kind of joke.

It was time for some payback.

Rhode was waiting for Zuko, flying on Lero above the firebender she silently reached with her mind to draw him into her world of dreams. He would think he was, initially, still storming around Adstringendum looking for her. He wouldn't be aware, immediately, that she'd brought him into her world, and that she was taking the guise of his uncle to come play with him, like he wanted so much.

"Zuko." She spoke with Iroh's voice and form, stepping up next to the prince. "Where are you going in such a hurry, my nephew?"

Zuko spun to face his "uncle", eyes wide, not expecting him to be out and about, wandering the city by himself. Not that Iroh couldn't take care of himself, of course, because he most definitely could -- but with Rhode running around, Zuko didn't want to take any chances, especially with his family.

"To find someone," he said, a tad shortly. "Where are you going?"

"Iroh" smiled, raising a calming hand to Zuko. "I was looking for you, I have something you should see. Will you walk with me?" Gesturing gently, Iroh took a step in another direction, beckoning for Zuko to join him.

Late evening, walking back to Jean's after a walk to clear her head.

Rei didn't understand Rhode's motivation in invading her head. After all, she didn't even really know the girl. She had spoken to Allen once -- maybe? she thought -- and got along fairly well with Lenalee... but other than that, no connection. None whatsoever.

So what was with the constant nightmares plaguing her throughout the night? Brutal nightmares about murdering her friends, one by one, in the most vicious and disgusting way possible.

"I'm not liking this place any more as the days go by," Rei muttered, her large white wings dragging on the ground almost dismally. She was exhausted.

Rhode reaches with her mind to trap Rei in her own wold. She has nothing more against Rei than she has against any other human; a general, sadistic hatred of the other's existence, nothing personal. Rei will find herself experiencing rounding a pile of rubble, while in reality her body slumps, unconscious.

But the dream looks just like Adstringendum--with the exception that in front of Rei the Sailor Scout will see herself standing over Usagi, the blond girl's face twisted in torment and pain as the other!Rei wraps her fingers around the blond's neck, squeezing the life out of her as Usagi cries, begging to know what's wrong.

Rei's heart immediately lodged into her throat at what was waiting for her around the pile of rubble. Was that... but no, it couldn't be, because she would know if Usagi had arrived in Adstringendum. The girl couldn't keep her mouth shut for ten seconds, she would know, it was her job to know --

"Usagi!" Rei cried, scrambling over a smaller pile of rubble to get to Usagi, her brain not processing that it was her that was doing this... until she was only ten or so feet away. The expression on the other Rei's face was almost... sadistic, like she was enjoying this --

Words failed her as she broke into a full run, her eyes wide, her hand already down her pocket to find her transformation wand. Not enough time! At the last moment, Rei flared her wings to give her an added boost of acceleration, to slam directly into the other Rei as hard as she could, to try and knock the girl off balance.

The other Rei stumbled, grabbing the real Rei's hair and pulling hard as she fell. Usagi lay, unnaturally still, where the two girls left her. Her eyes were wide and dead, staring blankly.

But Rei wouldn't have time to contemplate her dead friend, as he dobbelganger was attempting to wrap fingers around her own throat.

"She'll come back knowing you killed her!" the doppelganager crowed triumphantly.

Evening

Ranma was whistling to himself quietly as he flew around the place. These wings were awesome! However, he had to keep vigilant. There was some crazy little girl out there protecting people. It took him over two days just for him to be able to fight at his usual level due to the balance issues involved with the wings and he didn't think that he was ready to fight yet.

At least this alleviated his boredom though.

Rhode, though she too had wings, was sitting on her flying umbrella. Below her was Toph, only Toph was made up with her long hair put in ringlets and curls, her face painted with makeup, and her body stuffed in something incredibly frilly and pink. Rhode watched Ranma from a slight distance, debating whether to interrupt his flight or leave him be--she decided to wait and see if he came to her.

While enjoying his flight through Adstringendum... he caught sight of something in a shocking shade of pink. He immediately slowed his flight and stared at the pink abomination that was below him.

After a few seconds of curious staring, he went in for a closer look "TOPH?!" Ranma exclaimed in shock as he saw what she looked like right now. It was truly something out of the ordinary- Toph in a dress.

He had promised he would be there, and dammit he would make sure he kept his word. Sasuke wasn't pleased when Hitsugaya started having nightmares, wasn't happy when Izuna had them...

He was down right pissed when he started having them. Rhode was going to fucking pay. Revenge was all he knew, after all.

When Sasuke had the chance, he left the Juubantai house without telling anyone. It was late enough that anyone in the household could easily assume it was just another walk through the city. He hadn't really been able to sleep since the night before, much like his other housemates.

When Sasuke left, he made sure to take his sword with him, first cloaking it in genjutsu. He didn't doubt that this confrontation would end in a messy fight. Why else would Rhode hand out her coordinates so easily?

Rhode had roamed the city for a while, but since Sasuke had promised to meet her int he coordinates she'd sent, when evening came and she'd had her fun of people for the day, she returned to where she'd started. She didn't have Negi's corpse or the doll that was Anko anymore, but she did have a new doll! She'd even taken the time to do up Toph's hair and find a frilly pink dress for the earthbender.

And so, with Toph at her side, Rhode sat on Lero, swinging her legs and waiting for Sasuke to arrive.

"He should know better than to keep a girl waiting for a date." She commented, to Toph or herself, it was hard to tell.

It had taken him a little longer than he would have wanted, thanks to the stupid cursecursecurse wings, but he finally got there. Ebony eyes narrowed when he spotted Rhode, finally, not with Anko but with someone else.

...Well, this was fucking great. She really needed to be stopped.

"I suppose you're having too much "fun" to stop this, Rhode."

She will never treat Sasuke like anything but a casual boyfriend I swear

"Not really, it's getting dull by now." Not that she wasn't enjoying it! She was having a grand old time, especially mucking about in people's heads. The sheer darkness and agony people had within them, it was enough to leave her in bliss.

But she wasn't a mindless killer or a stupid sociopath, as much as she enjoyed her games, she'd made an enemy of most of the city. Those that didn't outright hate her were, at best, neutral to her. This wasn't something she minded, but it would be foolish to continue antagonizing the whole Safe Zone. Eventually they'd organize together, enough to genuinely hurt her.

It was about time to step back--if she pushed too much more, it might be interesting, but not what she wanted. That, and if she gave in to her Noah instincts any more than this, without Tyki or the Earl to stop her, she really would become nothing but a sadistic, destructive monster. That would be unsightly.

"But I can always~ make an exception for you. ♥"

After sunset

As the last rays of light left the sky, the old vampire arose from his coffin, made now very uncomfortable with the addition of the animus' latest game of pin-the-wings-on-everyone week.

He fed on a blood bag and took a look in on his ward, Rip Van Winkle to be sure she hadn't run off to cause trouble while he slept. He turned his PCD on and went into the living room, stopping and looking through the various distress calls and panic that seemed to be circulating.

Watching Rhode's message he chuckled to himself. So, it seems someone has gone off the deep end. Perfect! Tonight would be fun afterall.

A couple moments later he left the house and sped along the alleys and roads as silent as a shadow, wings kept close to avoid knocking them against the buildings.

Now, to find the girl and play before someone else took the potential fun away.

Rhode was easy enough to find, in the dark night she was lit by dozens of floating spiked candles. She was seated on her umbrella, playing with the hair of one Toph Bei Fong on the roof of one of the slightly more stable buildings, one that afforded a decent view of the city.

She was tsking at the state of Toph's hair--messed up in one of the earlier fights. Toph herself looked like a zombie, eyes dull and empty.

After tying a ribbon off into a bow, Rhode looked up, face turning towards the darkness outside the light of her candles.

"Who is~ it?" She called cheerfully, smile somewhere between welcoming and devious.

Alucard stepped into the moonlight.

"Evening" he greeted. Hisfiery gaze landed on the girl. "Having fun?"
