"Yo, there you are," Akira said, venturing forward to his opponent, "Glad you could make it."

He was in human form, clad in only baggy khaki's as he basked in the flow of the moons. High spirits weren't usually Inugami's thing, but he couldn't help but be a little intoxicated, tonight. Hopefully this one wouldn't snack on him like the last one did.

"So, what are you usin'?"

Alucard slammed into him, driving him back with a hand around his throat. He fought for air as the wind was knocked from his body.

"Gaaahk!" he gurgled, holding the vampire's wrist, "A lot stronger than that chick was, too. So tell me Al, what kinda' vitamin supplements have you been takin'? Vampire steriods?"

Alucard slammed his other fist into Akira's ribs.

"She is nothing but a freak!" he laughed "An experiment and decoy! Now fight back!"

He coughed up blood as he felt bones shatter in his midsection.

"Not...Feelin' like it...yet," he snickered, his air burbling up through him, "I'll...let you...know...when I'm up...to it..."

Alucard was trying his damned hardest not sink his teeth into Akira and rip his throat out, but if the wolf was gonna keep taking the vampire's hits, then he was going to give them.

He drew his arm back, fingers flat and pount straight, and aimed a strike for the other's heart, to pierce it.

Akira's other arm shot up suddenly, catching the vampire's at the wrist.

"Now see..." he grunted, prying the hand from his throat, "Now you're just bein' mean about all this. Here I thought we were gonna' have a nice little spar, and you had to get all serious."

The damage regenerated quickly, allowing the young wolf to spring off Alucard's body and back several meters. "Guess I can't keep playin'."

"Running are you then, wolf?" There was a mix of disppointment and anger tinged in his voice as he watched the other heal and back away.

"Tail between your legs already, boy?"

"Nope. Just gonna' get a little more serious."

All at once, Akira's body grew, widening in frame as he shifted into his wolfen form. The entire thing took all of a few seconds. His clothes were left in a neat piles as he stretched his limbs, loosening up.

"There, that's better."

"Much" he chuckled, very interested in that transformation. He could change at will it seemed.

"Come on then pup, let's play!"

Akira's image blurred as he moved, dashing toward Alucard and ready to deliver a massive blow to his center body mass.

"So tell me, Al. How well do YOU regenerate?"

The vampire took the blow, ribs shattering, organs bursting and he lost his footing, sent back several yards and crashing into a tree, limply falling to the ground.

"Shit! Shit!" Akira moved at top speed, reaching Alucard shortly after the impact. He touched the body, trying to see if he was still conscious.

"I didn't mean to hit you that hard! I thought your body might be more durable! SHIT! Your kind don't have vital signs, I can't tell if you're okay or not!"

The vampire chuckled deeply, raising his head and licking his bloody lip, which healed over instantly. "Not too bad." Alucard said and got to his feet, body already nearly repaired by the time he straightened his tie.

"...Huh. Not too bad. Different from mine, though. Your body seems a little unnatural," he said, sniffing at him, "And I don't just mean that you smell kinda' dead. Dead, but not rotting. Flesh, but kinda' not flesh."

He cracked his massive shoulders and took a few steps back.

"I know where mine comes from. The moon and my genetics. So where's your power comin' from?"

"My powers are my own."

And he had far more than what the wolf had already seen, but he wouldn't call on them for a mere spar.

Alucard slowly started to circle the other.

"Then why don't you show me a little more? There's no way that's all ya' got. At the current level of strength you're usin', you're hardly gonna' put a dent in this body. My flesh and bone is a lot more dense, like this."
