A male Carmen showed up at the house. She had to admit some curiousity about Susan. A white streak in one's hair much like Susan's typlically indicated, as far as she'd seen, some inclination to the more lawless side of things, but she'd seen no evidence of it in Miss Sto Helit as of yet.
Even though it was a particlarly large building and couldn't quite be considered a private residence, Carmen knocked. Manners were always important. And tea should never go to waste, especially when it provided a chance to gather more information.
Fortunately, nothing had happened to Susan. Yet, anyhow. Either the Animus had decided she wasn't as interesting this time... or were simply saving their mischief for her for later in the week. For now though, it didn't matter.
Though the place was spacious, Susan was rather used to that sort of thing. In fact, she really only used a few of the front rooms, the rest of the House vast and echoing in a comforting sort of way. So she was able to answer the door only moments later. Identifying the woman on the other side was easy enough--she had a rather distinctive sense of fashion, after all. "You're... Ms. Sandiego, are you not?" She asked politely, as welcoming as she ever was naturally.
Carmen smiled. "Most of the time, yes. And as it is my normal address, that will suffice. You are Ms. Sto Helit?" She used the same address as Susan, guessing that it was what Susan was most likely used to.
"I have not had opportunity to examine this location as much as the others that arrived last Christmas. If it would not be an imposition." And she wanted to try to get to know more about Susan. An intelligent woman in the city was a force not to be passed on.
Susan nodded briskly, hoping Carmen wouldn't mistake her politeness for coldness. "That will do, though I usually prefer Miss Susan."
Stepping back to allow her company entrance, Susan opened the door a bit wider. "Please, do come in, at your leisure. If you like, the kettle should be hot soon, if a cup of tea sounds appealing."
