He'd seen the entry too and had been in the middle of putting Elysia to bed. Thankfully, it wasn't just the Amestrian crew in the house. The moment he was convinced Elysia was safe, he went to find Roy.

He didn't have to go far, just to the living room. "Roy. Snap out of it and breathe, or you're not going to be useful to her. We've dealt with dangerous situations before." Reaching over, Maes placed a hand on Roy's shoulder for a moment, before patting the other man.

His PCD beeped, and he looked at it. "We're going to need to send someone to deal with stup-- a very confused girl continuing to be confused and foolish. Ai's getting involved too. If we have someone extra. If we don't, it's her own fault. I can feel sympathetic to a point, but when someone is determined to get hurt..."

Maes shook his head and put his hand back on Roy's shoulder. "We're good. She'll be fine."

The moment he saw Maes walk into the room he frowned, about to make his feelings known - but he was beaten to it, and with every right. He stared blankly, and then felt that hand on his shoulder.

Maes was always... almost always right. What use would he be to anyone in this kind of state? Hadn't that been the same reason why Hawkeye had him at gunpoint back home? Emotions. He had to keep them in check.

Maes' slight change of subject made it a little easier, and he frowned as he watched the man. "Ling?" He asked helpfully, realising the moment he felt Maes' hand on his shoulder again that he'd successfully managed to calm down - if only a little.

It wasn't helped by the sudden banging on his door. Leon. He opened it promptly, trying his best to smile when he saw the other man. "Leon, Thank you."

"Ling's a good idea. I'll contact him and try to send him after her if he's willing. She gave her coordinates." Quickly he typed out a message to Ling and sent it, along with Ai's post, hacked.

There. Roy looked a bit calmer, and now Roy had been able to help already. He just needed to keep Roy active and doing things, and everything would be fine. Sitting around was only going to make things worse for Roy.

Maes waved at the arrival. "Agreed, thanks. So we're waiting on Havoc and then we're going? Or are there more coming too?"
