She'd gone to bed a bit late, thanks to talking to Kakashi and hoping that it would fix something. Tenten still didn't know if it would pan out, but she'd smiled at Lee and tried to make everything seem fine. Lee was here now! They had the three of them! Shouldn't they all be happier? Apparently not... but maybe with some time.
When Lee woke them, her first thought had been that she was having a bad dream, and putting the pillows over her head would help. It hadn't worked. Now she was groggy and awake and he was still there, not going away like dreams normally did.
"Four. Four in the morning. You want us running around outside at four? Lee... The sun isn't even up!" Tenten wasn't lazy, but she really did prefer to rise with the sun.
But apparently this was the price you paid for having Lee back. Muttering under her breath, Tenten searched for socks. She was awake, and she knew the look on Lee's face when he wasn't going to give in.
"It's cold out." It was a last-ditch complaint that she didn't expect to work. This was Lee.
“The cold will be an invigorating test of our stamina!” Lee replied enthusiastically- and, perhaps in the view of his team-mates, heartlessly. Braving the elements was a fine test of the mettle of a man- or, in Tenten’s case, woman.
“You will not feel it anyway after the first hour,” he offered as consolation. There was a distinctive and familiar ‘clink’ as he strapped his weights into place, and the bright orange leg-warmers soon followed, covering the joined metal links.
Generally prone to waking up at dawn and not before, four in the morning wasn't so far off. That was, of course, if he hadn't been arguing throughout most of the night into the late evening. And once it was over, settled down to read and relaxed with Hinata over tea before he finally made his way to bed

"Invigorating test of our stamina until our fingers freeze and fall off," Tenten muttered. Boys. No, really, just Lee and Sensei would do something like this. Her hair took just as long as Neji's to attend to, since she didn't want it slipping out of the buns in the middle of fighting
