Repede loves kids [Backdated]

Characters: Yuri Lowell + Repede (divinewolfblaze and Fletcher Tringham (growing_roots) and maybe Russell if he feels like crashing.
When: A pleasant afternoon, Oct 10th
Where: Fletcher's place

Summary: Yuri and Repede are going to visit Fletcher and maybe cheer the kid up.

Fletcher hears the door ring and gets up from where he'd been reading a book on the floor. They didn't often get a lot of visitors...

Opening it, Fletcher's eyes widen and a big grin comes across his face. "Yuri! And Repede!" If possible, his grin gets even bigger at the sight of the dog. He loves animals!

Dart still didn't seem too keen on the dog though... The dragonhawk hovers in front of Fletcher, glaring balefully at the dog.

"Dart, be nice!" Fletcher scolds, leaning down so he can reach out and stroke the dog's fur.

Repede returns with his own glare, but Yuri gently bumps his leg into him to snap him out of it.

"Hey, Fletcher," he grins down at the kid as he starts petting Repede. Repede's a lot more friendly with kids and lets Fletcher pet him. He slowly wags his tail as he's being petted.

"So this is Dart." Yuri's attention was now at the interesting looking dragonhawk. If he hadn't known it was a pet, he would assume it was a monster.

Fletcher giggles when Repede starts wagging his tail.

"Yes, that's him! I'm still not sure what he is yet. I haven't been able to find any information about his kind... I found him here though! Did you find Repede here or did he come with you from your own world?" Fletcher asks curiously, still continuing to pet the dog.

Dart hovers above Fletcher's shoulder, bumping into his arm with a little noise. Fletcher chuckles and reaches up with his free hand so he can stroke the jealous dragonhawk at the same time. The little creature trills happily when he does so.

Repede leans a little into the petting. At some point, he'll roll onto his back, asking for a belly rub. That must really make poor Dart jealous from all the attention Repede was trying to get.

"He came with me. Repede's never left my side since I was just a kid," he watches Dart, being petted by Fletcher. "May I?" He asks, hoping maybe if he gave Dart some attention the hostilities between pets will go away.
