Adstringendum was the only city Ginia could think of where the stars were visible at night. Sometimes the clouds covered the sky or the moons familiar and foreign drowned out the stars and other times the sky was blank, but tonight Taurus chased Scorpio and Virgo across the night sky in an impossible race. Ginia leaned against the side of the clinic and stared at the sky, trying to gather her thoughts before they could slide out of grasp. Cicada was curled around her shoulders and gave comforting licks to her cheek, quietly whimpering and chirping. The kinkajou could sense her master was back and was excited to see him, but "mommy" was upset and she was happy to stay there and comfort her ( ... )

Hazel looked up when Ginia knocked on the door and let herself in. Imagine his surprise when a small creature ran over to him, quickly climbing onto him and licking his face with a long tongue and chittering at him. He could help but chuckle in surprise and gently grabbed the creatures from it's perch on his neck to look at it.

Cicada allowed Hazel to remove her from her perch. She hung from his gentle grip and barked at him, happy but also....confused. Something was different about him.

Hazel face softened to a warm expression and he set the small creature into his lap gently stroking it's fur. He looked at Ginia and the bag she was carrying before smiling a bit more guardedly at her. "Please....Sit."

Ginia closed the door behind her and calmly walked to the bedside and pulled over a chair, her smile also a little guarded. Who knew what was going through his mind after arriving in such a state in Adstringendum and then being berated for things he couldn't possibly remember or know about.

She hated him looking so weak as well, so detached from everything. It was such a change from the quiet arrogance he once had and the way he carried himself. It tore at her heart while Alice cried for her broken angel.

But at least Cicada seemed to have a positive affect on him. Ginia set the bag against the chair - she could show him the contents later - and took out her PCD to type out a message for him.

/Her name is Cicada. She's a kinkajou and she's your pet./

Hazel watched Ginia as she sat down. She seemed like a nice person, but his reception to this...place had left him wary.

He accepted the PCD and read the text. "Hm! Really?" He set the PCd down and Looked at Cicada.

Cicada looked at him her small animal face showing so much love. She lent back onto her hind legs, gently putting her front paws on his chest before licking his chin affectionately. Hazel laughed a little, delighted. "I guess that answers that question."

Hazel looks back at Ginia. "You have been....taking care of her?" He smiles Warmly. "Thank you...."
