Goku was just a bit late for their meeting, and he knew it. It couldn't be helped, though; he had forgotten to milk Gyuu earlier that morning, so when he went out to refill her trough before going to meet Nill, he had to do a rush job of it. He had poured some of the fresh peach milk into two empty water bottles, though, and packed them into a styrofoam cooler that he had scavenged from a sporting goods store. The milk plus some boxes of snack crackers would at least make a snack for him, but hopefully would make a decent meal for Nill.

Cooler in hand, Goku made his way to the beach. It wasn't far from their apartment, just over the river and a little bit further north, so thankfully he wouldn't be too incredibly late. Noticing the winged girl sitting on a rock, he raised his arm and waved. "Hey! Sorry I'm late!"

She broke from her small dazed and turned to look where the voice had come from. Upon spotting the brown haired person, Nill rose her arm in the air and gave a happy wave while her wings mimicked and flapped in enthusiasm.

Carefully, she shuffled down off of the rock only to slide and land on her rear in the sand, a mute "oof" coming out in a gasp of air from her lips. Embarrassed, she quickly stood and brushed herself off, shyly waving once more.

Seeing her fall, Goku began to jog towards her, stopping just a couple feet away. "Oh! Hey, are you okay? That was a big fall!"

He turned his head to glance out at the ocean. The sun was already setting, but the uninterrupted horizon offered them about an hour of daylight, at his best estimate. He didn't want Nill to be caught out after dark, either, not being able to defend herself, so maybe cut that back to a half hour, or fourty-five minutes at the most. Either way, it should be plenty of time to at least teach her a little bit of something.

Nill quickly nodded, still flushed with embarrassment and continued to brush off her backside, frowning at the lingering sand.

Once she felt less like a fool, she looked up at the person who seemed a lot shorter on the PCD, but was probably a good height taller than her as he looked out over the horizon. She blinked then looked out over the water as well, the scene calming.
