Where: The beach area.
Rating: PG- Will adjust if needed.
Summary: Nill goes to see her first beach ever and experience the fun of burning hot sand, salty water, blinding sunlight. And enjoys it all.

This was fucking ridiculous. He could count on one hand the times he'd ever had fun on the beach. Swimming, fine, he could do it, but in the sea?

Still, that chibi was irritatingly hard to say 'fuck off and die' to and here he was, half-naked and exposed to the chance to get severely sunburned.

Deliberately, he picked a more secluded side of the beach, where he could see and hear others but not be easily seen himself. Then he'd probably get in the water, have a look for some of these fabled squid, maybe take a few back for Unohana, record a little bit of it as evidence that he'd actually been and then he'd be done.

Satisfied with this plan, he rounded a rock to set his stuff down and a movement instantly caught his eye. Looking up, he saw a young girl kneeling in the sand not ten yards away and playing with it. He was about to turn away and retreat back to the other side of the rock until the miniature wings on the girl's back caught his eye.

So that's th' chibi, huh? He scowled and waded into the water. It wasn't too bad, warmed

She kept trying to pile sand on top of itself in a makeshift-- dune. But with the waves crashing forward it was hard to keep a pile when the water would pull it back out with it.

Frustrated, her small wings ruffled but soon the feathers lay flat once more. Giving up for now, she stood and rubbed her forehead with arm before a figure caught her attention.

She straightened up and gave a happy wave to the person that looked a little familiar, the small wings flapping happily.

A sidelong glance back to the shore showed him that the girl was waving to him, he nodded although she probably couldn't have seen him, and dived suddenly.

Coming back up to the surface, he was just in time to have a largish wave break over his head, making him splutter and swear loudly.

Perhaps he didn't see her, but when she took a cautious step forward and saw him resurface, she was about to hoist her arm in the air. It, however, was cut short but the large wave the broke over him.

The splutter and swear actually prompted a small mute giggle before it turned to worry and she hurried over to the shoreline.

Spyro walked along the beach looking around in wonder it didn't look like anything from their home as he blinked seeing a young girl walking playing in the sun he couldn't help but to wonder over his mind slightly forgetting the tether with him and Cynder.

"Hello." he said to the girl.

Nill glanced up when she heard someone greet her, but in the instant she saw what had addressed her she froze with the small wings flapping on her back. It was unlike anything she had ever seen before.

Shyly, she rose her hand and gave a timid wave.

The purple dragon couldn't help but sweatdrop some. As he bowed his head to her in hopes to show he was not going to harm her at all.

"I didn't mean to scary you. I'm Spyro, I just didn't see anyone else about here other then you. Are you alright?" he asked her.

"Ummm what is your name?"

She stared at the creature then blinked and quickly looked around. She had left her device at home so instead she opted for writing in the sand.

N I L L She wrote, then pointed to herself while looking at the creature. Not only did he have really pretty wings that trump hers, but he was also able to speak. A luxury she didn't have.
