Summary: Unohana and Jojo have Jojo's father over for dinner.

He'd quite been looking forward to dinner, so it was with a big non-offending grin that he wandered up to Unohana and Jotaro's house, knocking a light rhythm on the door that they would perhaps recognise as his.

Every time he saw them things were a little different, at least as far as he could remember... perhaps this place wasn't helping his memories.

Hitsugaya heard his mother's call from his room and allowed himself a single sigh before setting aside the PCD and steeling himself for the coming visit. He wasn't against getting the family together per se, and he had nothing against his grandfather either, but he had never been much of a socialite and being part of a large group wasn't easy for him. Well, except when he was ordering them around, but even he wasn't quite sure why that was. Perhaps leadership set him apart enough to make him comfortable. Or maybe he was just destined for bossiness.

But for now he had a table to set. Just a little slower than he had to, he trudged into dining area and began taking out silverware, placing it on the table while completely ignoring his grandfather's knocking in favor of his current task. He figured Mother or Father would want to open the door instead, and that thought had almost convinced even himself that he wasn't ignoring it simply because he didn't want to be the first to greet him.

Although he knew that he couldn't actually surprise his wife, Jotaro never gave up on trying, or a least pretending to try. He came in from the other room as quietly as he could, crept up, and put his arms around her from behind, leaning in with his face against her hair. "Smells good," he said wih quiet amusement - leaving it open wheher he was talking about the food or about her.

Which was of course when his father came knocking, breaking the moment with the talent that was only his. With a slight sigh, Jotaro settled for merely kissing his wife's neck and walked over to the door.

He passed by the table to give his son an approving nod, "good of you to come, 'Shiro," before opening the door. He wasn't much for gatherings himself... but you made allowances for family. It was always good to have them all together around one table like this.

"Hey, dad."

Unohana smiled at the tender gesture and the kiss, then wiped her hands clean, leaving the children int he dining area to go and welcome the guest as well.

"Roy-san ! Come on in, we've been waiting for you !"
