Mello had the sensation that this was just a dream, and suspicious as it was to realize that you're dreaming, he didn't give the matter any sort of importance. His sleepy mind was focused on the alluring house as he walked closer... closer...

Had he ever been in such a place before? It was oddly familiar.

"Mother..." he murmured, trying to open the door without success. This house wasn't his, the door wouldn't open for him. He stood there for a moment, wondering if he really wanted to know who lived there, but then curiosity (or perhaps irrational hope) pushed him to knock on the door.

When the building was approached, and door were tried to be open, atmosphere around changed. It lost its warm aura, and radiated something that could only be taken as not welcoming the intruder. However it stopped exactly in the moment when assault on the doors halted, reverting to its peaceful, homely atmosphere...

No one answered the knocking to door, but a sound, a soft click of opening window, was heard from the side.

One thing was clear: Mello wasn't wanted here.

Perhaps that was the reason why his desire to sneak into the house, to impose himself over whoever wanted him gone only raised. He followed the sound, turning the corner to see if there was any open window. Much to his delight, there was, as if whoever was inside hadn't rejected his presence completely.

Getting inside from the window, Mello reached what looked like the house's basement. There wasn't a single soul to be seen there, but Mello was certain that he wasn't alone. He didn't give up on this game of hide-and-seek, confident that he was completely safe and untouchable.

The basement for a first glance could be taken as part of a house not a storage place, it was usually used for. Even if there was no carpet, and furniture around had signs of years of usage it could easily be a spare room. The room Mello entered was small, with a closed notebook - covered in thin layer of dust, and lots of books on the shelves, and just lying around or hid in boxes. It had only one door leading to the bigger, central room.

The basement was kept tidy and comfy, despite being, well, a basement. It had a big room with a table and an old couch, that had been obviously used for years, and was not good enough to be kept in living room, but too good to just throw away. There were photos scattered around the table, and several doors leading to different parts of the basement. Two of them were different - one half open, leading up, and one heavily locked.

There was a one bigger photo, of a group of people apparently celebrating something. Some of those faces were familiar - those people were here, in Adstrigendum - others obviously not. Smaller pictures scattered around presented different situations. Lockon cutting Setsuna's hair on a beach, or standing in a room with Tieria, they both staring into space and Earth, through giant window. A young pink haired girl, with Haro in her hands. There was also something that could pass only as a drinking session with Sumeragi

Tieria found himself standing in front of a small house. It seemed to send out a certain feeling Tieria couldn't name, yet if was somehow familiar. He approached the house and it was almost feeling to warm. He wasn't really used to this kind of feeling. He tried to open one of the doors - without success. Tieria searched around, finding one of the windows open and decided to slip into it.

[ooc here have me assume it was a floor window, since the basement wasn't mentioned]

You enter a hallway of the house, the move almost dropped a small plant from the windowsill. Weird, the house is apparently empty, but you can almost feel a presence of someone, or something. There is something akin to steps heard from above, and corner of your eye may register a move - like someone just walked around the room. Ah, right. Rooms. There is lot of door leading to various rooms, most of them are half open.

The walls of the hallway are decorated with small framed pictures. Ones you can recognize, because they hold the happenings from Adstrigendum.

((ooc: Okay!))

Tieria takes a good look at the pictures. There had been happening so much the previous year. Not that anything less happened in their world, but they usually had an advantage with their Gundams and Veda, and neither of them was here. Only a GN-drive that he hoped would be never found here.

Tieria decided to enter one of the rooms.

It was a small room, with a big photo of Ginia and Allelujah with Lockon on something that looked like St. Patrick Day's festival. The shirt Lockon had on it - obligatory "Kiss me, I'm Irish" type - was hanging on chair's back. There were many little things, and photos around, that were related to Ginia in a way. Other people were present on them too, but it seemed like she was the main star of this room.

Despite the happy faces, the room held kind of... atmosphere of melancholy.

The house had a nice and warm feeling around it, but being that closed - Murrue had tried to open the door already for quite a bit - gave her the impression that someone was shutting people out on purpose. She took a few steps around the house, finding a window half-open. While it conflicted with her morality, she made her way through the window and got in.

You enter the house hallway, apparently no one is inside even though there is that strange feeling you will meet someone after next corner. There are small plants on the windowsills, and framed pictures on the wall. They seem to portray mostly happy moments, though there are some sadder, more melancholic ones.

At the end of the hallway there is pair of stairs, one leading up, to the upper floor, one down, to the basement.

Murrue looks around. This kind of feeling which she gets in this house was somehow just too familiar. It seemed like someone had lived through much. Murrue wanders through the hallway, looking at the pictures until the end. She decides to go downstairs, first.

The door of the house wouldn't budge no matter what, so Vincent gave up quite quickly to walk around the house. He located two possible entry points, and thought long and hard.

Probably someone else's mind. Quite curious that whoever it was was almost inviting people to break in.

After careful consideration, he chose the window on the first floor, and quickly scaled the wall.

What was accessible through those window, was a hallway. Decorated with small plants here, and there, and lots of framed pictures on the wall. Rather familiar pictures, of people from Adstring. Meisters mostly, but also Lelouch, Suzaku, Ginia and others.

-Vincent was present on them often too. Even though many of those pictures were in monochrome and blurred.

Vincent had to smile at seeing himself blurred in most pictures. He tended to be just a blur in most people out, comig it when they didn't expect it, gone before they could notice it.

Everything else seemed to be Adstringendum-related, so Vincent left the hallway, looking for the stairs going down.

Photos of the cat visit, as well as those holding still memories - because what else pictures are, if not memories? - of Lockon after his come back to Adstring were sharp clear, and colorful.

The basement looked mostly like a part of house, even though a thing layer of dust could be spotted around. It consisted of as much photos, and various unused items. Haro could be spotted, lying silently under the table. Only few doors here, and small rooms with shelves and books behind them. Only one were not open. Only one were locked heavily, not allowing the access.
