Kobato was already in the kitchen, checking all the tools they had there. She had only cooked successfully once, the other time it was a mess that poor boy probably couldn't eat after all.

"Tyler-san, I'm here!" she waved as he came in. Then, suddenly, her eyes widened and she jumped to push Tylor down, or rather to save him from the monster that was eating his back, but the effect was the same as they both fell to the floor.

"Kya!"

Tyler stumbled and fell back when a cannonball of a girl jumped at him, quickly releasing the crab and letting it fall to the side to avoid falling on it and crushing it. Crab meat and shell stuck to the back of his shirt was something he did not need.

"...Well. I know I'm a handsome guy, but it's not every day I get pretty young ladies throwin' themselves at me."

Tyler gave a grin and a wink to Kobato and sat up, giving his back a small rub. At least he was in his human form; there was nothing more painful then bending or squishing his tail.

The crab clattered its legs against the kitchen floor, struggling to get away with little success.

"The monster!" Kobato points at the crab on the floor, "he was eating your back! Are you hurt? Injured?"

The young girl examinated Tyler even before he could reply. It was amazing! He must be such a strong man, because that giant monster had not managed to open the smallest wound.

"Hey, hey, easy there, sweetie," Tyler said with a laugh as Kobato began to inspect him for any injuries. Talk about a sweetie. "Don't worry, I ain't hurt. Gonna take more than a little crab to take me down."

He swung a leg around and placed his foot on the back of the crab's shell, pinning it down before it could drag itself further way.

"And don't worry, this monster won't be botherin' us for long. I'm gonna teach you how to cook it."
