Gojyo moved at the same pace, keeping up with Ginia. He could get her enthusiasm, one of her friends was here. Gojyo was starting to get just a bit jealous. Everyone seemed to be getting a friend showing up except him. And Hakkai. Okay, maybe it wasn't entirely unfair, if more than one was getting the short end of the stick.

"She's not here to assassinate anyone, right?" Gojyo was teasing, he'd told Ginia about how they were so often attacked. A store caught his eye as they walked past. "Huh, Juke had some of that shit in his kitchen, and it looks newer. We should hit it on the way back."

Cheshire - or, rather, Erika - was one of the most popular topics between him and Ginia - in fact, it the first topic made them such good friends. It was no surprise Hakkai was also excited - and rather curious - about meeting her for the first time. He was also glad that Gojyo decided to came, seeing that they had such similar personalities (according to Ginia, that is). He knew Goku and Sanzo could act like "good little boys" in the household while they're away.

Unlike Gojyo, Hakkai was not really that jealous of the rest of the household - he was already glad to see Goku and Sanzo meet important people in their lives. Other than Chin Yisou's appearance (he'll deal with him later), the week wasn't really that bad. For now. So while there are worried thoughts in the back of his head, Hakkai concentrated on keeping his pace with Ginia (not that it was that hard), planning questions to ask to Cheshire already.

"Ahahaha! Careful with your words, Gojyo - you might just tempt fate." Hakkai replied, with almost the same teasing tone. ( ... )

Erika sat on a pile of rubble, smoking contently on her last cigarette. She found it buried deep in her pocket and it may have been a bit crumpled, but it worked to give her the fix she needed while she waited for her partner to arrive. The situation was more than a little strange, perhaps more than their usual brand of oddities, but she could deal. They always did.

Her mind was filled with questions too, the most important one being how Ginia lost her arm. She knew her partner had a brash streak, but losing an arm was certainly something that topped the list and despite the half smile on her face, it put her back into a slightly cranky mood. Oh, was Ginia going to get it. Who did she think she was, going off and losing an arm like that?

Erika stood up on the pile of junk and crunched her cigarette into a bicycle wheel. Whistling loud, she waved her arms in the air and began shouting.

"GI! HEY! GI, OVER HERE!"

Ginia gave a small laugh at Gojyo's words and shook her head. Who would there be to assassinate so soon and it wasn't as if it matter; the person would only come back to life. But maybe they could find other jobs to do. Hunting down items and delivering them was a useful service and they never minding doing those kinds of jobs even if they could turn messy and violent at a moment's notice ( ... )
